Delicate and mellow black tea made of whole leaves, grown and produced in a small tea farm in Kerala, India.
The tea farm practises natural farming and intercropping techniques and tea plants grow among lemon, cloves, gooseberries, hibiscus and various other trees which helps to maintain biodiversity, soil heath and the nutrient quality of the teas.
Why it's called Orthodox black tea?
Orthodox refer to the traditional process of tea making which includes processes like withering, rolling, fermenting and drying. All the tea leaves are handpicked that ensures premium quality.
Ingredients:
Loose leaf black tea
Flavour:
Delicate and mellow, ideal for English breakfast tea or afternoon tea
How to brew:
- Add 1 teaspoon or 2 grams tea in a strainer in a cup
- Pour 150 ml hot water (temperature 80° - 90° Celsius)
- Let it steep for 3-4 minutes
- Remove the strainer, optional add lukewarm milk or sugar or a pinch of chai masala
Storage:
Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight
